Remember to click through people’s post history when listening to their advice on crypto

I've recently been trawling through old posts, trying to do some research on coins. One thing that I've found valuable that takes just a few seconds is clicking on people's usernames and looking at their recent post history. A potential red flag for me is that they constantly talk about one coin, or all their recent posts are in that coin's subreddit.

Another thing I sometimes find is subtle brigading. All of a sudden, five posts in one thread talking about a certain coin, and all five posters are frequent contributors to that coin's subreddit. This is harder to spot on well-established posts that have a lot of comments, but it still happens there.

Of course these people may have valuable insights, but it's helpful to contextualize their insights into their post history/potential bias/their own position in one coin.
